Greetings and Salutations, To describe myself seems an excersise in self mockery, but here goes. I'm a single white male, about 6'1 and 200lbs. I have green eyes, brown hair, and a little goatee. I'm also a professional chef, who's work is his play, and his passion. Unfortunatly, all work and no play does tend to be a little on the dull side, and very much on the lonesome side. So I've decided to try this peral ad thingie in an attempt to meet someone in my area who might share the problems of a workaholic. I'm an intelligent, creative type, with a somewhat warped sense of humor. I recall fondly serving an executive chef "Poached field mouse in aspic jelly" once for his birthday party. I am also a natural night-owl, and rely heavily on coffee as one of the primary food groups. I enjoy hiking in moderation, reading in excess, dancing badly when I have to, and cheesy science fiction/horror movies. I'm very well educated, and can hold up my end of a conversation, even though I do tend to get a little intense. I'm also a transplant to the mountains of North Carolina. Originally I come from New Orleans, which may explain my twisted sense of humor. It certainly helps explain my passion for cooking. On a limited basis I try to garden. I also enjoy some photography, mostly of wildflowers and dishes I've prepared though a little erotic photography never hurts either. I enjoy chatting on my computer, and sitting up talking late, but I absolutly hate useing the telephone. Let's see...did I leave anything out? Pets? I have one cat named Caligula (latin for "Little Boots") who does her best to keep me in line. That's about it. I'm an orally fixated pro chef who loves his job, but lacks a little peral touch in his life. I've a good sense of humor and a quick mind, I'm considerate and imaginative in the areas that count. Basicly, I'm a moderately well thought out guy.

My Ideal Person How to quantify what I look for in a woman... hmmm.. I would prefer someone somewhat near my own age, at least within ten or twenty years. I enjoy a person with inteligence, though education is not required. A sense of humor is vital however. Give me someone I can make laugh all night and I'm happy. Physically, I prefer the average type, neither very overweight nor overly athletic. The first physical attribute I look for is an interesting face. In personality, I like someone with some self confidence, but not an overbearing persona. I also enjoy a person who's willing to try new things, or is not too shy about communicating what she wants. I'm a laid back fellow, but I do like to know what's on a lady's mind. I'm seeking someone I can enjoy spending time with, doing things with, and sharing my passions with.
