Back in the 80's we were touring Yellowstone National Park in a motorhome,
of course there r many places to stop and watch geysers, we stopped at one to fix lunch! Before eating we decided to walk over an see when this one was active,
just as we walked up it went off, not very big, didn't last long, ho, hum just another geyser!
After it finished we realized there was a young man who had been camping there taking photos. He looked at us and said, WOW! This one only goes off every three to five days, I've been camped here for four days waiting, and just as u folks walk up it blows!!!!!

Great post, Under the conditions u were there for, that must have been a really great day for u, and Thanks for u service! Some of the best things u just can't plan......
