Tina gets her life back!!

As of May 11th, I am now the recipient of total dental implants, thanks to my new husband. Even before we were engaged, he paid cash for the "Rolls Royce" of dental implants, to the tune of just over $14,000. This new technology permits the dental arches to be easily removed by the patient for cleaning. Three minutes a day like dentures, but then they go back onto mounting pins in my mouth and they never move. It's a great new technology that anyone considering full dental arches should consider.

The results are amazing. I have my smile back, my dimples are back, I'm told I look 20 years younger, and my confidence is through the roof. I'm always looking in the mirror, which I haven't done at all for ten years. I'm on the hunt here on AdultFriendFinder, and I'm meeting new people and having more fun than ever. Also, I can eat properly so my health is drastically improving. I can actually eat instead of just swallowing big pieces of food and getting heartburn.

That being said, I want to tell you the reality of dental arch implants. First, there is no such thing as "One day" dental implants. It takes longer than that to make dental impressions. Even if you have no teeth, and your bone structure is still good, it will still take a minimum of one year for the implants to heal and the bone to recover. So if you're thinking about this, realize that it will indeed take a year for the whole process to happen.

And, there is a lot of pain, putting in the implants is a long and painful process. Even with the painkillers and the "Miracle Mouthwash" I still had horrible pain for several days. That God I have a very understanding and supportive husband, who really helped me get through this.

The inability to eat solid food was also a problem. After the implants are put into your jaws, even soup was a painful process. I'm certain that some of my recent weight loss was due to the fact that for weeks I didn't want to eat anything, because of the severe pain, and the consequences of not chewing my food properly.

And there are the many trips to the prosthodontist's office, most of which included my loving husband, who had to drive any time I was on pain meds in the office. In the last week I had to make the trip seven times, for impressions, adjustments and final installation of my arches.

Finally, there is the cost. Economy dentures cost over $300, but that pales in comparison to the $14,000 price tag of my new smile. My husband paid cash for mine, but not everyone is that fortunate.

So in conclusion, if you're considering dental implants, look up
Affordable Dentures and Implants
They did mine, my doctor was brilliant, and the results are worth a million bucks.

Good morning! I am glad things worked out well for you. My adopted daughter had very poor teeth, probably due to malnutrition during her mom's pregnancy. ( she was barely 4 pounds when she was born) After she turned 20, my wife found a dentist and got her teeth fixed, and it cost me $26,000. It did wonders for her ego, smile, and personality. However, I think the dentist charged way too much for what he did, and I am not sure it is a permanent fix. They are supposed to be permanent, but I have my doubts. But - -- for the change it made in my daughter, it was worth the price I paid.

Flossing my teeth. You're promoting a company. Doesn't seem quite cool to me.
