Definitely do not stick to one music genre. My collection is ecelectic as I equally enjoy vocals and instrumentals.
However, I grow up listening to the ‘crooners’ including Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, Nat King Cole, to name a few. It’s probably why today, I count Michael Buble, Harry Connick Jr, Matt Dusk, Diana Krall and KD Lang amongst my favourites.

As a musician for most of my life, ALL types of music yanks my chain. Every era, right up and thru to today's hits. Whatever has a beat, or a tune, or great vocals, or musicianship.. Everything except - disco...,😈 (f.. king piece of shit!), and opera (not into that at all), and .. I've got a collection of thousands of songs. .. But really... Latin foreign languages. Middle Eastern.. I trip out on all of it... Except disco... 😈Disco almost ruined music... I vomit every time I hear ABBA... 😨😬😈 DO I have an opinion? Sorry for getting so verbal. Music is a huge part of my life! Or what? Lol.. I'm good! 😂😉😇

I am all over the place with music genre...and I do like Linda Ronstadt,,,some days I listen to Hispanic polka music and can't understand but a few words...lol
When listening to public radio and the music is interesting then I am listening maybe until that show segment ends. That is how I ended up listing to polka music...

Linda Ronstadt one of the greatest singers ever I really liked her Oh Baby Baby such a great song. I love all genres of music but country really sticks out for me, as well as R & B. I hope you have a fantastic start to your weekend my friend..

I'm all over the place with genres, but it's more about specific artist(s) or songs within genres.

Frank might of been the leader but Dean Martin was a far better singer. Just my opinion anyway.

I've listened to everything from classical to hard rock since I was in the 6th grade. I've never been boxed into one type of music. well except I hate .

I can remember being around 18 or 19 and singing Johnny Mathis, Chances Are. All my friends giving me grief about it. And me just singing louder. LOL

I've never been one to follow the crowd. I was always the one leading, albeit in my younger years, usually in the wrong direction.

I grew up listening to, and therefore liking, much of what my brother was listening to as he had the louder stereo.

So my musical choices were greatly influenced by him - mainly 80s/90s stuff. But now I'll listen to Julie Fowlis who sings in Gaelic. Even though I've no idea what she's singing, I still like the lilts and melodies of her songs.

Loved my hard rock bands (Aussie ones) but when it came tome to study - on went the soundtrack from Star Wars. Weird I know, but it worked for me.

My tastes are quite eclectic. All sorts of genre, and in several languages. My current favorite is by Josh Turner, Why don't we just dance. I think his voice could be attractive to many ladies

I am primarily a prog rock guy and classic rock. I can also follow many modern prog, heavier rock, as well as things like Oscar Peterson Trio form of jazz and some Miles Davis, plenty of opera Verdi, Wagner, Richard Strauss and classical, mostly symphonic

Plus various pop/rock. I try not to be too sniffy or snobbish about op, though often fail

I will have to give it a listen. I kind of threw people off when I would pop in Bach's 7th symphony. I listen to about everything, from metal to mellow, there's even a few song I like from back before they went monotone foul mouthed.

I'm all over the spectrum. Of course all the norm favorites like Journey, Led Zepplin, Elton John, George Strait, etc. but then when you want to go a little smoother I like Olivia Newton John, Paul McCartney and for musical Duke Ellington, Yanni, David Young. And for a little further reach... Victor Delgoto (Cuban). And anytime I want to be taken to paradise I just listen to Fink Floyd, Jimmy Buffet, and anything with a Caribbean steal drum.

Remember the song 'Summer (the First Time) ' by Bobby Goldsboro?
I think it was 1973 and not normally the type of song I'd go for but it still sounds great today.

I was always the one who shied away from the norm as a kid. I was the only girl in the neighborhood to have a motor bike, which I liked to drive fast and am shocked that I was also the kid to not break a bone from biking. I also was not close to the norm when it came to music either... lol.. I enjoyed some country and bagpipes... lol Everyone thought I was whacked in the head..

I have always done what I enjoyed and not worried what others thought.

I pretty much like most types of music and nearly always have something playing in the background....but really can't listen to !
